Warm up with this literary cocktail based on the book Fahrenheit 451. Apple cider, juices and warm spices plus rum make up this Fahrenheit 151 cocktail.

This is a warm cocktail but not hot enough for a fireman to come by and see where the smoke is coming from. The title of the book is a reference to the temperature that paper will burn.

This Fahrenheit 151 cocktail is a great cocktail that won’t be banned in my house. The 151 is a reference to Bacardi rum.

Ingredients

  

• 1/2 cup apple cider
• 1 oz cranberry juice
• 1 oz orange juice
• 1 oz pineapple juice
• 1 oz rum
• 1 clove-garnish
• 1 cinnamon stick-garnish

Instructions

 

• Pour all ingredients except rum and garnish into a saucepan or a glass measuring glass in the microwave. Heat until warm.
• Into your mug, pour in the rum and then add the warmed ingredients. Garnish with clove and cinnamon stick.
• Sip! Preferably next to the fire while reading Fahrenheit 451.
