Vodka Cherry Sour Cocktail

When I bought a bottle of cherry juice, I knew I would want to find several cocktails to create. This one has been in my regular rotation. One thing that is a must is to use fresh lemon juice. It’s life-changing not really but, your taste buds will thank you. You can certainly, buy simple syrup but, it is so easy to make you won’t need to buy it anymore. Just buy a squeeze bottle and heat equal parts sugar and water. Just keep the simple syrup in the fridge.
I love garnishes! A lemon wedge and a maraschino cherry would be perfect in this. I used my spherical ice mold and, I love the upscale look it gives this vodka cherry sour cocktail.
Vodka Cherry Sour Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Deep Eddy Lemon vodka
- 1-1/2 oz cherry juice
- 2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
Instructions
- Add vodka, cherry juice, lemon juice and simple syrup to a shaker with ice.
- Shake until super cold.
- Add craft ice or crushed ice to a high ball glass.
- Sip!
