Winter Citrus Tequila
The blood orange juice makes this winter citrus tequila worth waiting for citrus season.
The taste of a blood orange is a cross between sweet, fruity and tart. It has notes of raspberry, grapefruit and orange. The flesh is spectacular and that is what makes the cocktails beautiful.
The mint gives a burst of freshness and muddling brings that out.
Lime gives a pop of sour to help balance this cocktail.
Pomegranates grow all over Arizona which makes us lucky. I love to use the arils as a garnish.
