Ingredients
  

Blueberry Puree

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Cocktail

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce blueberry puree
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Ice

Garnish

  • Fresh blueberries
  • Lemon twist
  • Edible flowers
  • Sugar for rimming the glass

Instructions
 

Prepare the Blueberry Puree

  • Wash the fresh blueberries thoroughly.
  • Blend until completely smooth.
  • Strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the skins.
  • Set aside.

Prepare the Glass

  • Place a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for several minutes.
  • If desired, rim the glass with lemon juice and dip it into sugar.

Make the Cocktail

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add the vodka, blueberry puree, simple syrup, and fresh lemon juice.
  • Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Double strain into the chilled martini glass.
  • Garnish with fresh blueberries, a lemon twist, or edible flowers.
  • Serve immediately.
    Use ripe, fresh blueberries for the sweetest puree.Fresh lemon juice provides the best flavor.Shake long enough to properly chill and slightly dilute the cocktail.Garnish just before serving for the freshest presentation.
