Cuisine American
- 5 fresh cherries pitted
- 2 ounces vodka
- ½ ounce triple sec
- ½ ounce fresh lime juice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- 1 ounce cranberry juice
- club soda
- Ice
- Fresh cherries for garnish
- Lime wheel for garnish
- tajin for rimming the glass
Add the pitted cherries to a cocktail shaker and muddle until they release their juices.
Pour in the vodka, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, and cranberry juice.
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass, then dip the rim into Tajín seasoning. Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice.
Double strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.
Top with club soda and stir gently to combine, being careful not to lose too many bubbles.
For a sweeter cocktail, add a little extra simple syrup to taste.
For a lighter spritz, use club soda. For a more festive version, substitute prosecco or a dry sparkling rosé.
No fresh cherries? Frozen cherries can be used for muddling—just thaw them first and drain off any excess liquid.
