In a 9x13 casserole dish add 1 unrolled can of cresent dough. Make sure to stretch and cover the bottom of the casserole dish. Press and crimp together the dough to leave no holes.
In your mixer bowl beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add in the egg and vanilla and mix well. Spread over the dough.
Unroll the second can of Cresent dough and place over the top of the cream cheese layer. Pinch the seams together.
Pour the melted butter evenly over the top. Mix the remaining sugar with the cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the top crust.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until it appears set when gently shaken and the top is golden brown.
Cool for 20 minutes. Serve on it's own or with ice cream.
