Ingredients
  

  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 honeycrisp apple-sliced thin
  • 1 orange-sliced thin
  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 2 cups apple cider-fresh if available
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup orange juice-fresh if available
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Cinnamon Sugar Rim

  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Add cinnamon sticks, apples and oranges to a large pitcher. Then add wine, apple cider, brandy, orange juice and lemon juice. Put in the refrigerator for 8-24 hours.
  • Taste and add some brown sugar, honey or agave if needed.
  • If you want to add a cinnamon sugar rim mix the cinnamon sugar on a plate. Moisten the rim of your glass with an orange slice and then roll the rim in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Add ice to your glass and ladle the sangria in with some of the fruit. Top with club soda if desired.
