Heirloom Tomato Salad
Beautiful heirloom tomato salad that is easy and has a flavorful vinaigrette.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp white wine or champagne vinegar
- 1/2 tsp honey
- kosher salt
- pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped chives
- basil for garnish
- 1 Lg heirloom tomato
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, honey and 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper
- Slice tomato about 1/4 thick and arrange on a small platter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spoon vinaigrette over tomatoes. Top with chives and basil leaves.
