Leftover Turkey Swiss Panini

If you're looking for a delicious way to use up your leftover Thanksgiving turkey, a turkey Swiss panini is an excellent choice. This simple yet flavorful sandwich is a great way to transform your leftover turkey into a mouthwatering meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups leftover turkey-shredded
  • 1/2 cup leftover cranberry sauce
  • 2 tbsp fig or apricot jam
  • 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 8 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat pan or panini press while prepping the sandwiches.
  • Mix the cranberry sauce and pecan together. Set aside.
  • Spread butter on 1 side of the bread. Then spread the other side of the sandwich with Dijon mustard.
  • The top the slice of bread that has Dijon with turkey slices and top with the cranberry sauce.
  • Then top the cranberry sauce with 2 slices of Swiss cheese. Spread butter on the second slice of bread and jam on the other side. Place the jam side down on top of the cranberry sauce.
  • Place sandwich on the panini press and press down. If using a pan weigh sandwich down with a brick or a press, then turn sandwich to cook the other side.
  • Slice in half and serve!
