To make the homemade chocolate liqueur you just need a few Ingredients. Most you will probably have on hand.
- Cocoa Powder
- Water
- Granulated Sugar

The process took about 20 minutes from start to finish. The hard part is the waiting which takes 7 days. It’s well worth being patient after you make and taste your cocktail.
There are two types of chocolate liqueur, cream based or clear. This recipe is a clear based meaning it is not made with cream.
I store my chocolate liqueur in a flip top bottle in the fridge. Depending on the size of the batch or if you are sharing this yummy creation, you could use a smaller bottle. Just make sure the vessel you are storing the liqueur in is sanitized.
