Cherry Tequila Limeade Cocktail
Cherry juice is something new for me to drink. So, when I had some left after using what I needed for a recipe, I decided to try my hand at cherry cocktails. This cherry tequila limeade cocktail is fruity and bold!
This cherry tequila limeade cocktail reminds me of a margarita. You only need a couple of tools to make this, a shaker, jigger, and citrus squeezer. If you don’t have a shaker, use a mason jar with a lid. You don’t need a jigger, just use measuring spoons. An ounce is 2 tablespoons.
Cherry Tequila Limeade
Cherry, lime and tequila makes for a great cocktail for a BBQ. This has the flavors of a margarita. So tasty!
Ingredients
- 4 oz cherry juice
- 1-1/2 oz tequila
- 3/4 oz simple syrup or agave
- 1/2 oz fresh lime or lemon juice
- ice cubes
- serving glass-low ball
- cherries-garnish
- lime-garnish
Instructions
- In your shaker add some ice, cherry juice, simple syrup, lemon or lime juice and tequila. Shake until very cold about 30 seconds.
- Add ice to your favorite glass and strain your cocktail over the fresh ice in your glass.
- Add your garnish.
- Serve, sip and enjoy! Cheers.
