Ingredients
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 2 honeycrisp apple-sliced thin
- 1 orange-sliced thin
- 1 bottle red wine
- 2 cups apple cider-fresh if available
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange juice-fresh if available
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Cinnamon Sugar Rim
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Add cinnamon sticks, apples and oranges to a large pitcher. Then add wine, apple cider, brandy, orange juice and lemon juice. Put in the refrigerator for 8-24 hours.
- Taste and add some brown sugar, honey or agave if needed.
- If you want to add a cinnamon sugar rim mix the cinnamon sugar on a plate. Moisten the rim of your glass with an orange slice and then roll the rim in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Add ice to your glass and ladle the sangria in with some of the fruit. Top with club soda if desired.
