Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes
If you haven’t gotten on the Instant Pot/Pressure Craze by now you really should. One of the first things I made was instant pot mashed potatoes. I have 2 in my house and I don’t know how I lived without them. Saving time is a bonus! Plus less time mashing means more time making cocktails!
Yes, I know mashed potatoes are easy to make on the stove. I will never make them on the stovetop again. Here’s why…..I only use 1 cup of liquid compared to a whole pot of water. I have never had the Instant Pot boil over and make a mess on my stovetop. The potatoes cook in 6 minutes. I can leave the potatoes after mashing in the Instant Pot to keep warm while I finish the rest of my dinner.
I reheated leftover Pork and Sauerkraut for dinner last night. What goes with pork and sauerkraut potatoes of course. It tasted like I made the whole meal from scratch.
