Rosemary Honey Whiskey Lemonade
Rosemary Honey Whiskey Lemonade a smoky citrus cocktail that’s sure to satisfy your taste buds. Modern twist on a classic cocktail for your next happy hour.
Don’t skip the garnishes when mixing cocktails. I believe the cocktail tastes better when is looks stunning. For this cocktail I used a sprig of rosemary and a lemon wheel. I made some dehydrated lemon slices which would have been perfect for this cocktail.
Start the simple syrup by combining honey and water over medium heat until the honey is dissolved. Add the fresh rosemary after removing the simple syrup from the heat. Making a simple syrup is one of my favorite things to make with my fresh rosemary. I’ve had this rosemary bush for as long as I can remember. It’s super hardy and can withstand the Arizona heat. Simple syrup keeps in the fridge for months.
I only used a few ingredients for this Rosemary Honey Whiskey Lemonade, so don’t skip using fresh lemon juice.
Top off this cocktail with club soda or seltzer. If you want an extra flavor boost, use a lemon-flavored club soda. I use unsweetened club soda because the simple syrup gives you all the sweetness you need.
