Fantastic Asian flavors that are bold and bright. My Asian staples in my pantry come into play here soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and garlic. Fresh ginger and garlic deliver more of a flavor bomb but use whatever you have on hand. My favorite part is the crunch from the water chestnuts.
Meatballs are great on their own. If you are a sauce person, try this recipe https://www.eatingwell.com/recipe/272730/honey-soy-ginger-glaze/.
What I love about this recipe is that you could pair just about any sides with it. I had some edamame growing in the garden that I added coupled with with a dipping sauce. Carrots are one of my favorite vegetables to roast and they were delicious.
Once in awhile I find myself with leftover meatballs. Grab a freezer bag and don’t forget to label it.
I love a themed meal. I’m thinking in the near future I will be doing a meatball party. I’m compiling a list of meatballs from different countries.
