Grape Coffee Cake
Grape coffee cake is a great way to use up the grape harvest. Grab a glass of milk or cup of coffee and sit down to enjoy the healthy and delicious grape cake.
I don’t normally think about grapes in recipes. I went to a produce haul and was given about 15 pounds of grapes. This meant time to be creative. Why not make a grape coffee cake! I came across a recipe years ago that I cut out of a magazine. I’m so glad I did.
One of my favorite things to serve for holiday breakfast or brunch is coffee cake. It adds that perfect sweet taste and goes well with coffee or tea. I’m a traditionalist and prefer the cake version without fruit but this recipe caught my eye.
Strawberries would also be a great pairing with the grapes. Use whatever color grapes you have available. When I make this next I will be adding strawberries. It would be fun to make coffee cakes using different grapes and taste test to see which you prefer.
The difference between coffee cake and crumb cake. Coffee cake has a streusel topping while crumb cake is a thick crumb topping.
This is another of my favorite coffeecake recipes https://meatsbeetsandbubbles.com/apple-cinnamon-coffeecake/
