Shrimp with Garlic Jalapeno Butter
Shrimp with Garlic Jalapeno Butter is so simple, but the flavor is amazing. Dust shrimp in potato starch for crunch with a delicious sweet and spicy butter sauce.
I would gladly have left a tip and paid for this meal. That would be a little awkward because I was the cook.

I am not a fan of leftover shrimp so I cut this recipe in half for my husband and I. Looking forward to having company over so I can make this again.
Start with a brine that has baking soda in it. Brining shrimp in a saltwater baking soda solution improves the tenderness and juiciness. The brining process only takes 20 minutes which is the longest part of the recipe.

Double dredge the shrimp so you will have a crispy exterior. Then cook them quickly by shallow pan frying.
Make the sauce by melting butter in a small saucepan and adding the aromatics and seasonings to create this amazing sauce.
